PointRed telecom is a decade old wireless design & product company based out of the Silicon valley of the East, Bangalore India. PointRed products are engineered on various standard based technologies like WiFi (IEEE a/b/g), Fixed WiMAX (IEEE 802.16d) & Mobile WiMAX (IEEE 802.16e).

PointRed has shipped its products to 45+ countries spread across 120+ telecom operators worldwide. Uniqueness of the products is the REVERSE ENGINEERING mechanism which prevail in the company’s R&D roadmap. Reverse Engineering means, products are designed after carefully studying and understanding the requirement of the end user both technically and commercially. Thus it becomes a Win-Win situation for both, end user and PointRed.

PointRed believes in building products which will seamlessly integrate with the operator/customer network. PointRed has invested  Multi Million dollars  in productising the PointMAX system which is based on WiMAX Technology.

PointRed will continue to invest a significant portion of its revenue in Research & Development in order to be technically competent in the wireless broadband space. PointRed has already started  developing Gigabit WiMAX  system based on IEEE 802.16m thus committing to the strategy of WiMAX forum.
